Kelly is a provisionally registered psychologist and is on the road to gaining her general registration very soon. Kelly has completed all of her university training to be a psychologist and is nearing the end of completing her 2 year practical experience/internship.  This means that Kelly undertakes weekly supervision with a board accredited supervisor who is assisting in Kelly meeting all of the Board/AHPRA required competencies.

Kelly has a broad range of both personal and professional experience. Kelly has worked within the child protection system for numerous years, gaining valuable experience and knowledge of government support systems, and complex family circumstances. It is here Kelly developed a passion for working with families, particularly adolescents and children.

Kelly began her psychology career as a Case Manager and Provisional Psychologist with Uniting Care, providing therapeutic intervention and support to adolescents experiencing complex difficulties.

Kelly is passionate about attachment-based, trauma-focused interventions.

She provides therapeutic support to young people and their families to provide a greater awareness and understanding around interpersonal relationships, social-emotional wellbeing, connection and the adolescent brain.

Kelly is certified in evidenced-based therapeutic interventions including: Art Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Eye-movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR). She utilises evidenced-based interventions to target low self-esteem, unhealthy relationships, anxiety, depression, anger and emotional dysregulation.

All in all, Kelly loves working together with adolescents, and connecting with children, and they all have a lot of fun doing so, while learning life changing skills.
